  1. MGS4 finally getting trophies

    July 15, 2012 gameplayflicks

    Four years ago Metal Gear Solid 4 hit store shelves. The game was critically acclaimed and sold quite well despite the fact that it did not include trophy support. Recently the man behind the game (Hideo Kojima) said that a free patch would be arriving soon, the patch will implement trophies into the game! I wouldn’t be surprised if this boosts the games sales, and I’m sure many trophy hunters will be ready to have a MSG4 platinum added to their trophy roster. If anything, it will make some people go back and play the game, and its quite nice to finally see Kojima listen to the fans trophy pleas. On another note, I just hit trophy level 13 yesterday :]

  2. Spiral knights: The Solstice Promotion

    June 22, 2012 gameplayflicks

    The latest incentive to purchase a ce pack in Spiral Knights is actually worth picking up! Now through June 26th if you make a ce purchase of 3,500 or more you will receive a solstice prize box or boxes, all depending on the amount of ce bought. The solstice prize boxes do not require those pesky silver keys to open and you have a chance of receiving multiple items!

    Inside each solstice prize box, you can expect to find one of the following items or a 1, 2, or 3 unique variant ticket. *Click the image to enlarge the picture.*

    Each box will also contain a summer confetti and a winter confetti. There is also a chance that you could receive a weapon slot upgrade, trinket slot upgrade, 2-day heat amplifier, or a krogmo coin booster! This is definitely the best prize pack that has come out for a while.

    More Info on the promotion can be found here.

  3. Spiral Knights: Unique variants Explained

    June 11, 2012 gameplayflicks

    I remember when I first started playing Spiral Knights, I was basically thrown into a massive mmo with only the knowledge of how to attack, shoot, and use my shield. It was a confusing experience at most, and I only learned all of the features that the game had to offer after about 500hrs of playtime.

    Since then Three Rings(developer) has released an update that eases players into the game. The Mission update explains how gates work, the energy system, and the basics of Spiral Knights.

    However, the update does not touch on one of the most important features of the game, unique variants. Unique variants are essential to building a top notch load-out  and can be vital to a knights survival in tier three levels and shadow lairs.

    I decided to take a shot at explaining the subject and in the below video I cover the basics of the unique variant system. Keep in mind every part of the system is not explained due to me wanting the tutorial not to get too complicated. Enjoy!

  6. One Hit Dragon Kill in Skyrim

    May 11, 2012 gameplayflicks

    I finally got all of the dagger and sneak perks in Skyrim and decided to try my luck at a 1 hit dragon kill. By sneaking up behind the big sucker and using a dagger I was able to deal damage over 20x the normal dagger attack!

    This spot was perfect for the kill because the dragon was situated near the front of a mountain, and there was a somewhat accessible path that led me right behind him. I usually end up meeting dragons by surprise and get burnt/frozen to death, or the dragon will be right in front of a mountain with no space or path behind him. Enjoy :}

  7. Ghost recon Future Soldier beta impressions

    April 25, 2012 gameplayflicks

    I finally got around to playing the GRFS multiplayer beta that had been sitting on my ps3′s hard drive for a couple of days and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The beta actually seemed to be quite polished and I only ran into one graphical glitch over an hours playtime!

    The beta offers two different maps, I chose to play mill because of the rural setting. The other available  map was a desert town kept alive by its oil refineries. I recorded my mill match and added all of my impressions/  future youtube plans to the below video. Enjoy :}
